Unlocking the Dream Vision of Enoch – Part II - The Fall

In Part I of Unlocking the Dream Vision of Enoch, we took a first look at some of the esoteric meaning of the ancient symbol of the bull. We also touched upon how it represents the ‘first men’ that were created and how this understanding changes the context of many of the ancient mythologies that use the symbol of the bull.

Here in Part II, we will look at next event in the Dream Vision of Enoch and the symbol that represents it. This next part of the story is one that is, and isn’t, known by everybody. What I mean by that is that we have all heard of this story in one form or another, but that very few of us actually know the origin of the story we have today.

The next part of the Dream Vision speaks of the event that corrupted the first men. In the Western Judeo-Christian tradition this was the fall of Lucifer and his angels, in ancient Greece it was Zeus coming to earth after defeating the mighty Titans. To the ancient Egyptians, it was RA coming from the sky to create paradise on earth. To Enoch, it is a star that falls from heaven

And that is where we will begin our journey today into the Dream Vision and the hidden esoteric knowledge it holds.

And again I saw with my eyes as I slept, and I saw the heaven above, and behold, a star fell from heaven, and it arose, and eat [ate] and pastured amongst those oxen. And after that, I saw the large and the black oxen, and behold, they changed their stalls and pastures and their cattle, and began to live with each other. And again I saw in the vision, and looked towards the heaven, and behold, I saw many stars descend and cast themselves down from heaven to that first star, and they became bulls amongst those cattle and pastured with them [amongst them]. And I looked at them and saw, and behold they all let out their privy members, like horses, and began to cover the cows of the oxen, and they all became pregnant and bare elephants, camels, and asses. And all the oxen feared them and were affrighted at them, and began to bite with their teeth and to devour, and to gore with their horns. And they began, moreover, to devour those oxen; and behold, all the children of the earth began to tremble and quake before them and to flee from them. (Book of Enoch, Chapter 86, verses 1 – 6)

Now, most everybody on the planet has heard this story in one version or another and is the lynch-pin for the entire Ancient Astronaut Theory. The thing that isn’t as well known, is that in the western tradition almost all of the information known about this story comes directly from the ancient Book of Enoch. And this is the starting point to understanding the esoteric meaning to the symbol of the star.

To understand this event (and I will keep it in a Judeo-Christian context, just easier that way) we must go to almost the beginning of the Book of Enoch to tease some details out of the story. It is also the point of understanding of how the esoteric story is interwoven through the Book of Enoch, the Bible, and the general Judeo-Christian tradition, and with other traditions from around the world. It will also begin to show you how the symbolism begins to ‘build upon itself’ and how the symbols are related to each other. I know, a little bit confusing at the moment, but it will become clearer as we go farther down the rabbit hole of the esoteric.

The first part of the Book of Enoch (and one of the main reasons this book was removed from the Bible in 386 AD) speaks of the events that led up to this star falling from the heaven.

And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels [watchers], the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: “Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.” And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: “I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.” And they all answered him and said: “Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.” Then swear they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two-hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samjaza, their leader, Arakiba, Rameel, Kokabiel, Tamiel, Ramiel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens. (Book of Enoch, Chapter 6, verses 1-8)

This is very similar to the controversial passage from Genesis, Chapter 6 that speaks of the ‘Sons of God’ and their bastard offspring the Nephilim or as most know them, the Giants. This seems to be a point of confusion for many people on who is who and by what name they go by. To keep this simple, I will just tell you each one as Enoch referred to them and the works of Robert Henry Charles and George Henry Schodde and also the Jewish mystical tradition based on the Book of Jubilees.

The ‘Sons of God’ in the Bible are also the Angels of tradition, and the Book of Enoch typically refers to them as the ‘Watchers’ and many times as the ‘Host of Heaven’, in the Dream Vision they are the ‘men’. The Giants, Nephilim, and Elioud, are the offspring of the Watchers breeding with the daughters of man and are the elephants, camels, and asses, in the Dream Vision.

This is where it gets confusing for most people, the Nephilim, the Giants, and the Elioud, are all different groups that are related to each other. Many think that the Giants and the Nephilim are the same, they are not and most have never heard of the Elioud. In addition there are two different traditions on how these groups are related to each other.

In the first one and the more widely accepted one, the Nephilim are the offspring of the Sons of God and the daughters of man, the Giants in turn are the offspring of Nephilim mating with the daughters of man. And then the Elioud are then the offspring of the Giants mating again with the daughters of man. With each group being known for the exceptional abilities and wickedness. The second tradition is basically the same, with only change being that the Giants came first and then the Nephilim are their offspring with the Elioud being the offspring of the Nephilim. I personally go with the first interpretation.

But we are getting a little bit ahead of the story and now need to back up slightly and get back to the symbol of the star. This event of the star falling from heaven or better known as the fall of Lucifer and his angels is the first meaning to the symbol. There are additional ones you still need to know before you can truly begin understanding the esoteric meaning to it.

The symbol of the star is typically shown with some type of light radiating from it. The main stream traditions and the esoteric meaning to ‘light’ is the same; that it represents the enlightenment of knowledge and wisdom. This knowledge, or light, is what gives the being that brought it, his more traditional idea, as a great ‘Being of light’, or the ‘Bringer of Light’. This is also the idea behind the ancient Latin name Lucifer or morning star comes from. He was the bright morning star that came from heaven, bestowing the light of knowledge to a world wrapped in the darkness of night and ignorance.

This then leads to the next meaning of the symbol of the star. What was the knowledge that was given by this Morning Star, this Being of Light? To answer this question we must again return to the Book of Enoch.

And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals [of the earth] and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the all colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlenssness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and rootcuttings, Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal [taught] astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, [Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun], and Sariel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven. (Book of Enoch, Chapter 8, verses 1-4)

This was the ‘Light’ that was brought and given to humanity, the knowledge of civilization and all the good and evil that goes with it. This is also very similar to the mythological story of Prometheus and his gift of fire to mankind. This knowledge wasn’t just the knowledge of civilization, but it was also the knowledge of what we now call science and mathematics. This then leads us to the next meaning to the symbol of the star that will we examine in post.

The very symbol of the star, or more specifically, the five-pointed-star known as a pentagram, encodes some of this mathematical information. This gives this symbol an additional layer of meaning to a true follower of the esoteric, for they believe this symbol encodes the most important part of all the great wisdom given by the very Bringer of Light himself, that it is something that connects them directly to this great event.

Five-pointed-star
The easiest way to explain it is just to show you. You will see the picture of a pentagram that is labeled for geometry with one of the lines labeled A, B, C, and D.  You will notice that the line (A, D) is bisected at the two points B and C. This breaks the original line of A and D into three different ling segments: line (A, B), line (B, C), and line (A, C). We now have four line of different length when including the original line (A, D). When these lines are placed in the proper order, starting with the shortest to longest, [(B, C), (A, B), (A, C), (A, D)] we get the ‘Golden Ratio’ of Geometry. When combined with basic factions and simple algebra, you have the whole mathematical framework for what is known at ‘natural geometry’ and is the basis for art, music, harmonics, engineering, and most of the geometry of the natural world. Here is a link to a great little video explaining it all – (Math Magic by Disney https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELjEM4C2QSQ)

Traditional Pentagram
This understanding of the mathematical meaning to the symbol of the star, then leads us to the next esoteric meaning of this symbol. When it is enclosed within a circle as seen here, it becomes the Pentagram we all think of. This Pentagram comes from and was used by Pythagoras and the followers of his school. The reason they used this symbol was because it contained both the Golden Ratio and Pi, which only makes sense if you understand the mathematical relationship.

For those who have, or do, study the esoteric (especially the Masonic branch) should be familiar with the knowledge that the forty-seventh problem of Euclid is central to the belief system. The primary reason is because when combined with the symbol of the Pentagram, it provides the whole mathematical framework up to Trigonometry. And this is the great mystery to this symbol.

Mathematical relationship
To a follower of the esoteric, this symbol has much greater meaning than just a simple story. It is a symbol that not only represents the event of when a great being came from the heavens bringing the powerful light of knowledge and bestowing it upon humanity. But also is believed to encode that very same knowledge, the knowledge of the universe that the Bringer of Light personally gave. It is thought to be a direct connection and mathematical proof of this event. It is also an example of how this mathematical knowledge was hidden through the ages, it was hidden in plain sight, hidden within the very symbols themselves. For it is the mystery of the allegory of the symbols and the hidden knowledge they hold.

This then brings us to the end of our little journey into the Dream Vision of Enoch. More information and other relationship related to the star that fell from heaven can be found in THE FORBIDDEN KNOWLEDGE OF ENOCH.

In our next installment we will explore some of the violence and wickedness that the Nephilim, Giants, and Elioud, unleased upon the world and the next major event still remembered to this very day by every culture on the planet, the great flood of Noah. -RJ-
